The Cottage
Castle View is the perfect place to get away from it all, offering character and comfort in a very convenient location. Completely renovated and newly furnished, the 4 star graded property features modern facilities within the charming setting of a 200 year old stone cottage.
The cottage is located on a quiet side road with unreserved parking available (first come first served) and within a few minutes stroll of the harbour, castle and shops.
Outside, there is a spacious, sunny roof terrace with table and chairs and fantastic views of the Castle, River and Medieval Town. There is also a shared garden to the rear, which features a secret decked patio area within a 700 year old Castle Tower!
The spacious lounge/diner is comfortably furnished with TV/DVD, CD player and Radio. A selection of DVDs, books and board games are available for guest's use. The breakfast kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle.
Upstairs, two bedrooms sleep 4 people (1 double bed + 1 adult bunk) and there is a newly-fitted shower room. Travel cot, stair guard and high chair available.
In addition to gas central heating, there is an open fire (first supply of logs supplied).
All heating, electricity, bedding and linen is provided. Beds are made up ready for guests and a 24 hour laundry service is available.
