Welcome to Castleview Holiday Cottage Conwy

Conwy Holiday Cottage sleeping 4 - Short Breaks Welcome

Castleview is a character 200 year old Fisherman's cottage situated in a desirable position under Conwy Castle walls. The cottage offers dazzling panoramic views from a roof terrace over the Medieval town and countryside beyond.

This charming stone cottage has been recently renovated and equipped with new fixtures and fittings whilst retaining it's character.  Ideally located on a side street with the advantage of no passing traffic, Castleview also shares a secret decked sitting area tucked away within one of King Edward I's Castle towers.

Castleview is a perfect romantic retreat for couples, and the pretty accommodation features a spacious lounge/dining area with a cosy open fire and a light and airy breakfast kitchen with full length windows to make the most of the lovely outlook over the ancient town walls.  Upstairs there is a spacious double bedroom, a shower room and a bunk bed room with direct access to the roof terrace.

The tiny town of Conwy is a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best examples of a medieval walled town in Europe.   With a vibrant artist's community and a number of world-class heritage attractions, including the historic harbour and Telford's suspension bridge, it is a delightful all year round destination.

The Town's most famous attraction is of course it's dramatic 700 year old Castle, which you can view in all it's splendour from the cottage's roof terrace.

Wander down to the quayside and soak up the nautical atmosphere - Conwy is a popular sailing centre and still home to a traditional mussel fishing fleet.  Find the Smallest House in Britain, enjoy crabbing off the pier, or enjoy a cruise along the estuary. Upstream there's an RSPB Nature Reserve, with guided walks, or walk to the wide sandy beach at Conwy Morfa.

Conwy is an ideal base to explore the region's magnificent mountains, beaches, coast and countryside. A huge range of outdoor pursuits are on offer, including walking, climbing, biking, boating and golfing.

It is an excellent choice for non-drivers so leave the car at home!  There are great public transport links to get you out and about and the railway station is only a minute's walk away from the Cottage.  Regular open top bus tours link with the Victorian resort of Llandudno and river cruises and water taxis run in season.

We hope that the beautiful surroundings, warm Welsh hospitality and the real pleasure that we take in welcoming people to our home will combine to make your stay with us a very special one.
